Complex Geometry

I am a college teacher in Ireland. I look after young Carpenters who work in the industry here. I am also responsible for taking part in Skills competitions. Since 2011 my students have won GOLD medal in the Carpentry competition in N. Ireland. I have won three GOLD in UK National Final, 1 GOLD at Euroskills and my student was 8th in the World Skills final 2013.

When I went to Stuttgart in 2012 to the European Carpentry competition I was very excited about the high standards of competition there.

I would be interested in hearing from other college teachers/trainers who would be able to help me get better at this skill of geometry. The French style of roofing geometry in every interesting to me.  I want to know if there is a drawing that will help me make a Carpenters stool.
